Fiddle Leaf Fig Pruning

Hi all,

I got this little fiddle leaf fig for my birthday this year (end of June)

And I'm hoping to grow it into much more of a tree style, should I start pruning it now, or am I best off waiting and growing it as it is?

Greetings, welcome to the Forums.

Let the unbranched trunk of your Fiddle-leaf Fig (Fucus lyrata) grow upwards, until it has just passed, the point you want it to branch. At that point snip off the growing tip. This should stimulate the tree to branch.
