Hello,

It's fall time and I'm ready to see the fall plants grow. I'm in zone 6. So the peas, broccoli, onion, carrots and garlic doing well. I'm excited.

I'm in zone 9 and we don't get much fall color and no frost until late December. That's when my peas get planted.

I love the variety of crops. Do you have any tips for growing garlic? I'm trying it for the first time this year and I'm a bit nervous about it. :ROFLMAO:

The is my first year for growing garlic along with many other items. But, I'll tell you it was pretty easy. I bought an organic garlic at the store. I put it into a small mason jar with a lid. I shook it up a lot. This broke up all the individual cloves. I then set the cloves in a cup, as vertical as possible, with just a bit of water at the bottom. This caused them to start growing roots again. Then, I planted them a few inches down, with the roots barely covered with dirt. Now, the green leaves are a few inches tall on top. I don't know about from seed. But this method was very easy for a novice gardener like me lol.
