Has anyone here ever used an electric pole pruner? I bought a second hand electric pruner online but it is too old now to operate. I want a new one that uses 750W power & working height of up to 4.5 metres. It should have a shoulder belt and a blade protection cover. Any advice? Can I get it online?

I have a Black and Decker that is over 20 years old and still works fine. I don't know any of the specs on it since the paperwork is long gone. You can still buy this model at any of the major department stores. The only repair I have done is to replace the chain.

I use this; it works great for what I need it for, but I wouldn't recommend to anyone unless I knew exactly what they want it for, i.e. height of trees, size of limbs....

What I like about it is that I can use the chain saw independent from the pole for when I have large logs on the ground.
