Hi there, I need help saving my lilly pillies if it's still possible. I planted them four years ago and let them grow tall because I wanted them to block out my neighbors and I loved their appearance. They were beautiful, but about three months ago, I noticed that the branches started thinning at the bottom. I cut them back to the fence line, and now they look completely dead. Do you think they can still be saved, and if so, how? I would appreciate any advice on this.

It’s mostly a matter of time. Give them a good feeding and make sure they are watered properly. Since you’re going into Summer, they should take off and fill in fairly quickly.

Welcome Alice 578. :)

Scratch the bark and branches slightly in various areas, if they are still alive they will show green underneath.
