In my math class we planted all different sorts of plants, i chose marigolds. So they grew and grew, i planted six but one died. i took them home after about 4 weeks or so, the marigolds were at least 1 ft tall. but there was 1 marigold plant that was VERY tiny. it looked like it stopped growing at 1 week its only about 2 inches. Here are some photos.

Welcome to the forum.

I think it is a matter of 'survival of the fittest' Were they all in one pot and then transferred?

Marigolds are tuff plants. Put it in the ground with the rest, and I'll bet it will catch up in no time. Do you have good drainage on the little cup it's in? Looks a little wet to me.

It is just the baby of the family :) I am sure it will catch up with the rest once you give it more room to grow.
