I live in Florida and with Ian coming in we knew we would be getting rain for 3 1/2 days and heavy winds so we decided to bring our 2 dragon fruit trellis into the garage. They stayed in garage from Wednesday morning until Friday afternoon. They looked good when we brought them out. Saturday morning at 9 am one of the stems had whit from top to bottom but no indentations where white was. Another stem the one most visible has white at top of Trellis with the flesh indented where white shows. All the stems are very firm so I am not sure what this is. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated. We started this trellis in May 2022. The other trellis we did 2 weeks ago and has no white on stems

That was a bad hurricane. I've been through some bad ones in Texas but wouldn't have wanted to go through that one.

On your DF, could be lack of sunlight while inside and/or combo of overwatering which we tend to do when bringing plants in.

Wait a few more days and hopefully it will clear up....and best to you and all Floridians as you recover from a bad hurricane.
