Hey you guys! Brand new to this. I received a peace lily as a gift because I recently suffered a miscarriage and my friends were trying to cheer me up. I absolutely love the plant and have been looking up how to care for it. The only thing bothering me is that it doesn’t look like any other Peace lilies I’ve seen online. Tell me what you guys think and let me know if you have any tips for me. Thank you so much!!

Welcome to the forum @Peacelily495 . I shall have to put my thinking cap on to name your plant but I can say that it is not a peace lily.

Sorry for your loss.
Mrsclem is right, it's a Schefflera not a peace lily. Prefers bright light, moist not soggy soil. It will get much taller, like tree size.

This one of several different species called Umbrella Plant. Judging from the shape and arrangement of the leaves I believe this is the Mallet-flower Umbrella Tree (Heptapleurum calyptratum; synonyms: Schefflera pueckleri, Tupidantus pueckleri, etc.) native to tropical Asia.

@Mrsclem and @cpp gardener have both already ascertained the name of this plant for the young lady in question. There really is no need for you to saturate the forum in this way by dragging up posts that are not being discussed at the moment @Marck.
It is beginning to seem like you are bored, and overdoing things a bit.
