I noticed some white balls on my plant a couple of days ago, but today I've observed that they've grown significantly larger. I would like to know what they are, whether they are dangerous, and if I should remove them.

They are flowers of the Asparagus fern, Asparagus densiflorus ‘Sprengeri’. It isn’t a fern, it’s an Asparagus but not edible.
