I'm sending those American Goldfinches your way. :) Their numbers here are declining each day

This bird is way out of its element...the California Towhee if the AI is correct. It is non-migratory and spends its time on the West Coast Of USA...but have seen it twice here now.

Anyone have a different Id?

Speaking of grackles, had my first camera feeder appearance of one today according to AI. I hope it is just an isolated event and not indicative of things to come.

The photo in somewhat low light doesn't show the usual iridescence I've seen on them but perhaps it's just the light.

In the last four days, I've gone from filling feeders twice a day to not filling for three days.

Those of you North of Texas should be seeing some fat Goldfinches I've fed all winter coming your way 🤠 ...my camera feeder showed over 7000 visits from them recorded this winter.

Im not sure if they are the last but they are usually there most often.

I need to turn my feeder back around. The wind comes from the west most often and right now the camera is froze over and lid is flipped back. That idea didnt work so well at least for this time of year.

Another "new" species of sparrow showed up today...the Savannah sparrow. Interesting tidbit on them: "Savannah Sparrows are indicators of healthy grassland ecosystems."
They are a striking bird for so little color.

This is the first redheaded woodpecker I've seen in the birdcam. I haven't refreshed tge suet since the blackbird came back and im assuming that's part of why he is there.

Meadowlark have you seen the merlin bird call app? It tells you what bird calls it hears. Sometimes I get a dozen IDs in a few minutes.
