just wanna know if anybody lives here in n.c. i`m in MOORE county and it`s been 90+ for a few weeks - just wanna know how your dealing with the garden and water

I'm not in NC, but I'm in MS -- hot, hot, hot. We went 3 weeks with no rain with temps of upper 80s to low 90s. I watered small tree plantings, azaleas, and hydrangeas every other day. Gave them a good soaking. Plus, I sprinkled the grass regularly. I have 1.5 acres, so this is very time consuming.

I also don't live in NC, but it's very hot and humid down here. Garden stays cool with heavy mulch, I save rainwater and collect condensation from my AC unit, which provides well over 5-gallons of water per day.
