Did i prune my crape myrtle ok?

Hi! I'm from the Netherlands but here is not much to find about pruning crape myrtles/lagerstroemia's. I took this one home 3 years ago from france. It's lagerstroemia indica Bergerac. It hasn't had any flowers yet and I think that's because it was too much in the wind. It's now in my back yard and I wonder how I did pruning?

Welcome to the forum. I have only had Crepe Myrtle bushes, not trees, but it looks like you did a good job. You have a nice canopy shape so the tree should look great in full bloom.

wow, never knew they grew with such a long vacant trunk before. so its a tree. hum, looks like it will be interesting.
