Good evening, i might have an unusual question. I have picked up few rings of magnolia tree that was cut down. And few of them sprouted shoots with leaves on them while being stored in dark and dampish part of garage. There are fair few on each log and they are fairly discoloured asn in very pale green.

Was wondering if i can propagate them in any way? Cut them off dip in rooting hormone and place in perlite? Burry the whole log and see what happens?

Welcome @valius

Yes, I have propagated magnolia grandiflora from cuttings. Rooting hormone definitely helps your odds. The cuttings are very slow however, in my experience, to take root...taking weeks...and the success level isn't 100%.
