Hi,
This is an old Fiddle Leaf I found abandoned. It was about 6 feet tall and pretty healthy until I tried to make a cut in the stalk to have it branch out. Stalk split in half and I had to cut it there. BUT this guy is hearty so its growing again. But the leaves are very bunched at top with the new growth. What shall I do at this point to have it look better. Im not going for any kind of shape (tree, Bush), but just help it look better and have leaves not all bunch together?
thank you
Barbara

Hello @Barb1948 , and welcome to the forum :)

I rather hope someone else on here can tell me I`m wrong, but I don`t think your plant will grow any more leaves lower down on that big stem. I would make sure that that is cut directly above the top leaf to prevent any die back, and wait for the smaller stem to catch up a bit. That should fill the plant out a bit.

Thank you for your reply. When you say “that cut above top leaf”... I’m not understanding. Thank you
