Looks like it could be Cucumber Beetles, They can come in the spotted (pictured) or striped patterns

I also get those small little holes in my cucumber leaves, and have seen a handful of these perusing my garden (CA 9b/10a). My Cucumber plant is the queen of our garden right now and doesnt seem to mind the odd hole or two, so I just let them be. I just leave them to the beneficial insects.

I've heard they don't like Nasturtiums, and have seen a handful of people deal with them using Neem.

this bug is what causes my cucumber plant to have a big hole on its leaves, sprayed neem and its gone, havent seen it in a while except ladybugs
