Cucumber

Hey all,

My cucumbers are just now losing their spikes and I believe are close to ripe. However they also appear to have yellow stripes. Is this normal?

Welcome @Jfvogel Can you post a picture of your yellow striped cucumber.

Some varieties such as ‘Lemon’ cucumbers and ‘Silver Slicer’
are yellow. Overripe fruit often turns yellow. Overwatered fruit also can turn yellow. Too much direct sun...among several possibilities.

And this is apparently a very good way to store cucumbers:
"wrapping each cucumber individually in a paper towel, sealing them in a zip-top bag, and placing them on a fridge shelf."
