We'll be receiving some Crocosmia Bulbs in a few weeks - around Mid. May:

Hoping it's not too late for at least one yearly bloom - Zone 9/10.

Would love to here from others who have experience with this perennial bulb.

This stuff is hard to kill except by digging up the bulbs and you will eventually have to do some of that to control it's spread. It will thrive in virtually any climate. Fortunately it dose not go very deep and is easy to dig up. Just plant it according to the instructions you got with it - or look it up on line. You might not get blooms this year, but you will next year for sure. Hummingbirds love it.

We're fine with it spreading - appreciate the info.
