Communal rose gardens?

My city has a beautiful rose garden that allows you to sign up and take care of it. It's rather large and requires a lot of involvement. I volunteer and enjoy meeting others who do. There are many varieties of roses to enjoy and tend to. Do any of you have anything similar?

This sounds heavenly! I'd like to take care of a big rose garden and meet people who love those plants as much as I do. It would be so much fun! You're very lucky, Leahlane In my city, there are no communal rose gardens. We have a few enormous parks, but we can't plant anything there.

Dang. Perhaps if you could find others who would be interested you could look into starting one. It's a great way to spend an afternoon. I've also had neighborhood communal gardens in areas where I've lived before. That might be easier to kick start than a rose garden.
