Colocasia mojito

i am starting a colocasia mojito in a window to jump start it to be planted outside.the plant starts to grow the leaves get about a 1 1/2 long than dry up and die.what am i doing wrong.thank you for any replya

Welcome Joe. There are any number of things that could cause your problem. Moisture, sunlight, airflow and temperature are a few. The more background you can give us the better our advice will be.

thank you for the reply.i have the plant in a west facing window,i keep the pot moist,the plant got maybe 1 hr of direct sun.that i keep it now in just bright indirect light

if you can keep it alive , it will take off when you move it out side .
i grew one bare root in my pond it was a giant mass at the end of the growing season

when you put it in your pond how deep was the pot

No pot at all i put it in bare root between rocks and let it go .
