Hi Everyone,
My husband bought me a wonderful Cinnamon tree for my birthday in December.
Unfortunately, over the last few weeks its leaves have started to turn black. The patches form at the edges/tips/centers of the leaves. The patches eventually turn brown and crispy and then the leaves fall off.
The patches have a slight yellow halo around them, so I wondered if it was a fungus?
The plant is located next to a window to get light, but maybe not enough?
I am watering it when the top inch or so is dry an it’s not standing in water.
I have hunted online for the cause of this and can’t find anything much.
I wondered if it is too cold. I’m in Orange county and the night are still pretty chilly.
Reaching out to see if anyone has any thoughts? I have had many and not come to any firm conclusion.
Thanks!
