Cherry tree and pear tree

[Isaiah 58:11]

Hello! My grandparents have a cherry tree and (I think) a pear tree. I want to take some cuttings from both trees to grow at my house. How should I start?

4 to 6 inch tip cuttings
dip in rooting hormone (I like Dip-N-Gro liquid)
plant in 4 inch pots of regular potting soil
watch for new growth, when it gets 6-8 inches long your plants are ready to go.
