Hi all,
I live in NE Pennsylvania, and I planted 5 blueberry bushes last fall. 2 were only a year old, so little to no fruit is expected. My Hannah’s choice seems to have about the amount of fruit so was expecting. My Chandler and Aurora varieties haven’t bloomed yet. I know they fruit later in the year, but I was kind of expecting the Chandler to have blooms by now. Any thoughts on whether either of these will bloom and fruit yet this year?

thanks,

-Mike

I tried growing blueberries a couple of years ago. I failed horribly. Maybe I'll try again.

Blueberries bloom in the spring. It's possible that with the crazy weather this year your plants decided to skip blooming this year. We had 2 freezes right after our highland bushes started to bloom. It has cut the crop by half for this year.
