We had some problems with our Broccoli and Cauliflower this year. The broccoli plants look strong and very healthy. They are currently about 2 feet across but haven’t shown any signs of producing a head.

The Cauliflower didn’t get too big but started to form a head then went crazy and bolted quick.

Any recommendations for the fall.

Cauliflowers can be quite petulant.
They have to grow continuously, must never dry out, must have nutritious soil, (it's not so much that they are heavy feeders, just quite poor feeders) so obviously no competiton/
They don't like too much sun (fold leaves over the growing curds, & if your soil will allow windrock, stake them.

It got too hot too quickly. Plant earlier if possible. If not possible, then it just isn't going to happen. Brussels Sprouts are worser than broccoli and cauliflower.

You can grow them for a Fall harvest but you have to time the planting just right and it differs from each variety so experiment and keep records and you may be successful at some point.
