Not sure if it’s cold damage or possibly blight or maybe something else?

Looks more like physical damage from cold or wet than blight to me, but I am no expert. I have taken to growing RAF, they are a descendant of Marmande and the name is from resistance aux whatever tomato blight is in French. A couple of years ago when I had blight problems they were the only ones completely unaffected.

Like Oliver Buckle said it looks like physical damage. My tomatos had almost identical damages and it was caused by a mockingbird.

Can’t believe I missed you are in the NE! So very unlikely stinky bugs up there, although I’ve seen one or two there many years back. Were they grown outside? Very impressed if they were as they are (were) lovely specimen’s of tomatoes for the NE. But at least I think you will find most of them will be edible if you cut off the skin marks, even if only used for a sauce.

This is the way! What I am doing this very evening in fact! Our last tomatoes had to be plucked before a freeze and they have had a hard time this year. Not a pretty group after suffering the heat here and right into drought. Spring toms are prettier to me but I do not grow them to look at so that is that.

I bet I tossed 25% of the total weight.

Have a look at how many different ways tomato plants and the fruit can be attacked. I've been growing tomatoes since age 17 and I had NO IDEA the plethora of diseases/bacterial enemies of tomatoes.

Tomatoes | Long Island Vegetable Health

I think your tomatoes don't have "rain check," but are suffering from anthracnose. You be the judge. (My lone plant this year was doing great and then --- overnight ---- powdery mildew. Still got a good crop of toms, though.)

Sorry to hear you had this type of problem.

Possible remediation:

Lay a mulch of shredded leaves, dried grass clippings, or newspaper covered with straw under plants. Pick fruits regularly and quickly remove infected fruits. Avoid contact between soil and fruit. Avoid overhead watering during humid, cloudy weather. Remove all plant residue at the end of the growing season. Infected plant residues can be composted at sustained high temperatures- greater than 120° F. Otherwise, residues should be bagged up and discarded as garbage.
