Calendula diseases

Hello everyone, I've been having problems with my calendulas.
They continue to flower well but the leaves develop yellowish spots. When I magnify the spot (on the back of the leaves) they are appear as a ring of orange/yellow dots.
I have tried picking off the affected leaves. I've also cut the diseased plants back hard and in desperation I've even removed the affected plants altogether.
No other variety of plant seems to be affected.
I'm hoping someone will know what can do.
Is it a soil borne problem?

Welcome to the forum. Calendulas can be prone to fungus which can be caused by irregular watering. I'd suggest giving them a good soaking before the sun gets on them early on, and then mulch the plants well.
As an afterthought, and to answer the question, I don't think it's a soil borne problem or else it might affect all the other plants. It's a peculiarity with Calendulas though.

In Windows, click "Attach Files", select the file(s). They should appear below. Click "Insert", then either "thumbnail" or "full image". A phone might be similar, not sure.

Sounds like a rust fungus. Pictures are always helpful.

Probably powdery orange rust. I'm not sure if there is a fungicide available to prevent it or not.

Propiconazole is good for eradication and Chlorothalonil is good as a preventative.
