Brussels Sprouts spacinf

trying to maximize space I have 2 whiskey barrels about 3’ diameter would it be foolish to try putting 2 plants in each whiskey barrel about 20” apart and 7-8” from edge of barrel?

So that is enough room? Or should I go one in each?

Go 5-6" from the edge and space them 2ft apart.
Sprouts don't have huge roots, they need the space for the foliage.
