Brown patchy spots on dichonra leaves

Hi everyone,

I have a garden bed in my very small backyard covered with dichondra. Recently I noticed patchy and brown areas on the plant leaves (see attached image). The patches feel crispy so don't look like fungi.

I'm not experienced with gardening, so I'm not sure what's causing this. Any advice on what the issue might be and how to fix it would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like either sunscald or something caustic was sprayed near or onto the dichondra. Don't worry, it grows back vigorously.

I know you are approaching summer but have you had a really hot spell?

Thanks for the tip! We haven't had a full summer yet, but we had few very sunny days lately. I'll definitely keep an eye on the watering.
