So I have a 300g pond that I've been keeping some turtles in all year around. I have been heating the pond in the winters of minnesota and it ... gets expensive! I'm thinking about bringing the turtles inside for the winters.. Has anyone build an effective aquarium setup for turtles inside?? I found this picture as a reference

Any help or advice on setting something like this up? What size tank is enough for a couple turtles? Is it worth the headache of bringing them inside or should I just leave them outside?

I would build a turtle topper on top of a 55 gallon tank minimal and triple the filtration you would normally use for a fish tank. Canister filters and a couple sponge filters with power heads.
Triple the filters not the filtration capacity, you want redundancy when it comes to filters.
Add some feeder fish to keep those guys busy too!

Here is the one I built for my daughters sliders.
Tricky part was fitting the top to a hexagonal front and lighting.
