I bought a tray of "cauliflower" plants at a reputable supplier, however, they have grown like this, any idea what the problem is?

It looks to me that the trays got mixed up and what you got was kohlrabi instead.

That sure looks like a kohlrabi.
Thanks mate, you have solved the problem, this is exactly what they are, I have never heard of them before, that garden centre got this wrong, so much for cauliflower, I have a full row of those, however they might be worth trying this year now they are growing so well.

They are a bit easier to grow than cauliflower...but not as rewarding taste wise, IMO.

Generally, about two months...harvest when 2-3 inches kind of tennis ball size...bigger is not better.
