bougainvillea leaf problem

Help!

My Bougainvillea leaves are per the posted photo. What is this? How can I fix this? The flowering does not seem as prolific ever since I noticed this. I'm not sure if it is because of the problem or I am between a flowering cycles. Live in San Diego thx!

Looks like caterpillar damage on some of the leaves. The white spots on the leaf edges looks like what a sucking insect such as aphids would do. I would spray an organic product that has spinosad as its active ingredient. I will take care of both
