Not sure if i should post here or in the disease forum, but i got a question about the color of the stems of my blueberry bush. I added a few photos, is there something wrong with my bush, is it blight? Can whatever this is spread to other plants?
Blueberries are pretty tough customers. I have no idea which type you have there, but the high varieties I have and yours all seem to grow in a cane .fashion off of long slender branches like yours show in green. That appears to be very recent growth. As the meristem thickens and gets bark on it the plant gains more protection. But that area that looks wet should not be there. It is a little hard for me to see on this cell phone screen. Some some jellies are from bugs and some from fungus.
I have about 20 BB plants, from what I understand when branches, stems gets old (over 3-7 yrs+), they tend to brown and harden from, younger ones tends to stay green
