Black adder cuttings

Does anyone know how to make more plants from cuttings? If so would greatly appreciate it if you could explain how and when to do this. Thank you!

I grow several agastaches incl Black Adder. Some are easier than others....Blue Boa for example is very easy
For Black Adder I find pulling a basal shoot the most effective way. However, a cutting from a shoot with no flower buds and of reasonable thickness and about 2 or 3" long works well. I use hormone gel/powder and a 50/50 mixture of mpc and perlite.
When? Now or during the summer but the earlier the better I think
