Hello everyone,

I’m looking to improve the grounds maintenance program at our facility and would love to hear your experiences and advice. Specifically, I’m interested in strategies for optimizing landscaping, lawn care, and general upkeep without significantly increasing costs.

How do you schedule routine maintenance to balance aesthetics and efficiency? Are there particular tools, equipment, or eco-friendly products that you’ve found especially effective?

Additionally, I’m curious about preventive measures to reduce long-term damage to plants and infrastructure.

Any tips, lessons learned, or recommended resources would be greatly appreciated.

When I started a new landscaping job the first thing I did was take soil samples and sent them to the soil lab for analysis. The lab offers recommendations to best help fix or identify problems with the soil. I recommend getting a NPK, Micronutrient and pH test for about $30 dollars.
