Best companion plants for wild strawberries?

Hello all!

I have a strawberry patch (a wild variety, they've grown naturally) in the corner of my garden and I was wondering what would make a good companion for it. I don't suppose they're much different from non-wild strawberries?

I'm particularly looking for companion plants that keep away pests. If you could make any recommendations that spur strawberry growth I would be immensely grateful for that as well.

I've heard lots of good stuff about Borage being a good companion to strawberry plants... might be worth a try!
