Best $140 i ever spent

I bought some cut stones yesterday
They came from a old jail that was tore down a few years back
..My City should have saved it,
It was built in 1906


I took out some old railroad ties down in my bog that have been in since 1994
And replaced them with 16 " of stone and caped it with the old bridge timbers
All my roof water ends up down their and the water has taken its toll on them

I had to really pick through to get the ones that would work to replace the old ties
The longest was just over just short of 5 ft , its a good thing i put on my back brace
Moving the 14ft bridge timbers by my self was the most challenging , i had to get creative lol

Ok even with the dolly those had to weigh a ton. Nice job the wall looks great.
