I quite like watching this, as some of the repairs interest me.
Just half a dozen or so repairers working in a barn, (with every possible mechanical aid necessary) and a production team of over 80 people named in the credits at the end.
Today, in a new episode, one of the repairs was a 35mm cinema projector donated to a small volunteer run cinema. It looked interesting, so I watched it.
It needed a lot of work and there were parts missing. But the guy got it running and a bit of film was shown in the barn.
At the "reveal," you see the repairer turn on the switch, but who is kidding who?
Just below the switch there was a half visible "PAT Tested" certificate dated 2023.
Obviously, such things need this certification now, to be operated where purchasers or the public have access to them. So this was likely a year-old recording and the BBC had got it tested before it was shown to the owner..
