Bat on the Curtain as I sip my morning Coffee !!

He came flying towards me and

landed on the outside of the porch curtains.
Oh, little bat, no good, sun’s coming up.

so he crawled over to the inside!!

I wish I had a tall ladder I’d put a bat house in my yard.

We have a bat flies into the covered area by our back door, It switches on the security light. He does it often enough I am sure it is a deliberate ploy to attract insects to the light.

That's a clever boy !! We have lots of bats here, thankfully, but to be still flying in the daylight at close to 9 am seems a bit peculiar to me.
He didn't return this morning. I live on a State highway so it's noisey all day and last night was 4th of July; 5 blocks north of me was where fireworks are shot off every year, so it was noisey the whole time he was there. I'm sure he was saying to himself: " Worst hotel I've ever stayed at !!
