Bad spinach?

I'm in Utah and I planted spinach in a planter box back in September. As an experiment, I didn't uproot it after everything froze, but I put plastic over it to give it a greenhouse effect. It all ended up freezing solid multiple times and for days or weeks at a time, and it got a little green stuff growing on it at one point too. To my surprise, it has started growing and looks completely normal and health. Is this stuff carrying diseases now? Is there any danger to my next crop if I just let this crop keep growing in the same box? I just don't trust things that freeze and though multiple times without dying.

Welcome to the forums :)

Should be fine, but it'll probably go to seed soon so enjoy what pickings you can get off it before it does :)
