I dug carrot seeds into my garden late spring and kept the area damp, over month later I’ve seen nothing. I started again in summer and I’m seeing mini carrot sprouts but I’m also finding some weird other sprouts and not sure if it’s anything to do with carrots. The long sprouts (and 3rd pic )definitely the carrots but the others not sure. I’ve never grown carrots and decided last min in spring to start them.

Most of them are likely some type of weed. The green thing in the middle of the third pic looks like it might be a carrot. In the future try sprinkling seeds covered by a very thin layer of soil. Then put a piece of wood over the spot and water. The wood will keep it from drying out. Just water every day and you should have plants in a week if it is warm. Take the wood off and keep watering. Cheers.

It looks like you have one coming up in the third picture in the middle. The rest look like weeds to me.
