Hello, are these baby praying mantis? Good bugs! Or is it something else?

I don't think this is a praying mantis, but the pictures are not really clear enough. I think it looks like a chrysalis of moth or butterfly.
The mantis makes a nest a bit like a small wasp, and there are usually a lot of offspring. As they hatch out they look just like their parents, only very small and pale looking.
Maybe you could post more up close snaps?

You have some fascinating creatures in Australia. I thought I'd add this link of a mammoth moth for all to see.

I’m talking about the very small white:transparent insects on the leaf.. no moth egg.

Even by magnifying, these are nowhere near clear enough to see. They just look like bits of cotton.
