Arborvitae Trouble

So I bought two arborvitaes about two weeks ago. I planned on planting them this week however, one has started to turn a light green and the leaves have become very weak. I have been watering at the base every day or at least every other day. Do you know what the problem is? Can I save it? Why would only one be showing these problems when both get the same amount of sun and water?
