This guys talks alot, but he creates great videos with great information. In this episode he talks about aquaponics and goes through a aquaponics garden in Hawaii. Definitely a great video and very informative. My head is abuzz with ideas right now.

Do you have a well or city water on your property?

I f so, you might want to get the water tested so you can incorporate mechanisms to handle any problems before you start up.

Were we live at it is well water. I am thinking of adding some rain catches to this system also. I like that I would be able to have both fresh fish as well as vegetables with this. Most of all, it is natural to a certain extent. There are no chemicals involved.

I've read about those keeping a gh above freezing during the winter because they use a simple tank heater that runs on fairly low/inexpensive wattages.
