Anyone tried growing daylilies indoors?

My yard is full of daylilies, but I try to keep them contained to one spot. I was mowing the lawn and found a stray growing in the middle of the grass, so instead of mowing it down I dug it out with its roots and planted it in a pot inside. It's in a bright sunny window and I water it every other day. Best of all, it's thriving! It's grown at least an inch since I potted it a week ago. I'm hoping it will eventually bloom!
I know people grow indoor lilies, but I'm wondering about daylilies specifically?

I have never grown daylilies, not indoor or outdoor for that matter! My house came with them, and along the fence we have daylilies in the summer. They seem to spread easily, as my neighbor's house have ton of them too.
