After trimming a tree, I found this insect biting me. Anyone know what it is?

Sorry that photo was the best I could do. He's gone now! His body was long, slender, antenna stuck straight up, about 1/2 inch long, not friendly!

A wild guess would be a Longhorn Beetle but they don't bite, at least here they don't

Yes, agree. Most probably a beetle!

Looks like a Pine Beetle. I didn't know they bit, but then I've never given them a chance!

So many "bugshots" to choose from! I had no idea there were that many types. Really hard to spot which one it was. I think since he crawled under my t-shirt, I must have inadvertently slightly crushed him so he bit me. Glad I didn't get hurt seriously. Thanks!
