This more resembles Horse-purslane (Trianthema portulacastrum) in the Iceplant Family (Aizoaceae). It is considered to be a native plant throughout much the tropic and warm-temperate regions of the world, yet it is also usually labeled as an agricultural or ruderal weed.

True Purslane (Portulaca oleracea) is somewaht distantly related, being in the Purslane family (Portulacaceae), though both families are in the same large Order, Caryophyllales.
