I am thinking of the crabshell chitin content which supposedly supports a breakdown process in the soil resulting in a bacterial and fungal environment where the defense against nematodes is enhanced. The other 2 points about crab meal I am interested in is high calcium anfmagnesium and purported magical abilities to increase transpiration and therefore yield in the garden. I found source for 40 bucks per 50lb bag so its sorta in my price range? But is it useful? Anybody have experience with it?
