An animal ate my crocus (leaves and bud) so it never bloomed. Is it possible that it will bloom next year?

I have planted tulip bulbs for a man. When the tulip leaves and some buds formed, these were eaten by animals. The nest year a few of these tulips bloomed.

If the Crocus corm is still viable, you may see more growth shortly, at least leaves, if not flowers. Perhaps protect this growth with a plastic mesh or netting, at least at first. Even if you don't see any more growth, leave the corm in the ground. It may come back next year geophytes, such as Crocus, are quite resilient and often have additional reserves to survive through a poor year.
