Angel Wing Begonia question - to cut or not to cut?

it makes me sad that the wound is weeping. i hope it's like when we cut ourselves, and it will heal. there are loads of buds, which is why i didn't cut it lower down.

i'm so glad it stopped weeping, and now it's started to grow some really strong looking buds. this is not going to be a "normal" shaped Begonia, but then i'm not going to be entering it for a competition!
