I have an aloe that has definitely outgrown its pot after several years (at least 5). It also has babies/pups which need to be removed. I finally got motivated to repot it and, to my shock, there were flower stalks! I figure I should wait to remove the babies and transplant. I know that aloes don't need much room and I know they rarely flower indoors. I also know this pot is done. When is the best time to transplant?

Welcome! :)
Successful aloe transplantation is possible during the active vegetation period. In spring and early summer the plant will more actively restore the loss of the root system, adapt more quickly in the new flowerpot and get used to the fresh substrate.
I think it would be better if the aloe would end blossom in the old pot.
