That depends on how long its been growing and what time of the season you have? Its not dormant so you should be able to plant it in a container and get a few leaves. It needs to be really warm for a while if you plant it outdoors.
It was purchased in a 2inch nursery pot a month ago with one leaf that fell off. The stem was mushy so was pulled from its pot and given to me yesterday. It’s just hit winter where I am and we have cold nights.
