Trying to plan this out before the sweating part starts...
I'm looking to cover (shade cloth) an area 102" wide using a hoop style frame. I'm using 1" PVC because I already have a stock pile of it. I have 10' and 20' pipes. Doing the rough math for having about a 6' height, looks like I'd need about a 14-15' long pipe. I'm asking for advice on whether to have a single pipe bent over or have 2 smaller pieces of pipe with a coupler attaching them. I've got plenty of standard straight through couplers, but I've seen many couplers made for furniture PVC where they are 4 or 6 way crosses with different angles available 25/33/45/90 degrees that would give a bit of a peak to the arch. Some of those couplers would allow for a ridge line (pipes running along the peak down the row). I'm concerned about strength of any couplers at the top of the arch.

I welcome any feedback. Thanks!
